Well I had the best Valentine's Day weekend. Guess why? Give up?! J proposed to me! Can you believe it!? It was totally perfect. When I got home from work on Friday there was a fire in the fireplace, candles lit everywhere, and the kitchen table was in the living room and set all pretty. J had cooked me dinner and it was really good. He made a yummy desert, and even got champange. After we ate we were sitting at the table, drinking champange and enjoying the fire. J was sitting at a 90 degree angle to me (like at was at the south end of the table and he was at the east end). I don't even know what we were talking about. Then all of the sudden there was a ring on the table and J was on his knee asking me to marry him. It was so perfect! Here is the ring:
The rest on the weekend was good too. On Saturday, actual Valentines day, we went shopping for a possible new setting for the ring and went to a nice dinner at a steakhouse. On Sunday we watched a movie at home and went to the SamulNori thing J got tickets for. It was pretty cool. I am so happy! Yay! I have the best boyfriend in the world. I love him very much. Now this has been true for a few years. But he has really been spoiling me for Valentine's Day. It will make you jealous. (Plus he is sexy!) On Wednesday when I returned from lunch there was a rose and the DVD of Chicago on my desk. The card said "Will you be my Valentine?" Of course my answer was yes. It made me smile. On Thursday I came back from lunch and there were two roses on my desk and tickets to SumalNori on Sunday. SamulNori is some kind of Korean drumming. I am sure it is cool. J's intention was just for us to do something different. This time the card contained a haiku "A place beyond time Endless images of you Kept within my heart". It made me smile alot. Today (Friday) when I came back from lunch there was a beautiful ceramic pot on my desk with plants in it. I learned that the plants will bloom into Orchids which are beautful. There was was a regular card that includes a certificate to J's Day Spa and is good for 5 mineral baths, full body massages, manicures, and pedicures. Today I cried. He is so sweet. I wonder what has inspired J to go all out for me this year. I love him very much, even without fancy gifts. I wonder what actual Valentine's Day holds...
